Dell Latitude XT2 - Tablet PC Review

The design of this tablet PC laptop will definitely attract users who are looking for professional designs. The shiny surface of this laptop is specially painted with metal paint.
The outer shiny layer is very convenient to wipe and is completely scratch free. The square corners of the Latitude Xt2 give the laptop a perfect finishing and an attractive look.

The screen of XT2 is specially designed to give a wide angle of viewing. It can be kept in multiple positions without any major difference in color or contrast. Dell has configured the screen so that it clearly displays images even in the flipped position. The keyboard looks great and slim with the highly visible character labeling. The primary keys are prominently designed and the function keys are appropriate.
System specifications
Dell Latitude XT2 has an Intel Core 2 Duo SU 9400 processor with 1.4GHz clock speed and 3 MB L2 Cache. It has Microsoft Windows Vista OS (32-bit). It has a multi touch display with 12.1 inch (1280 x 800) screen. Intel X4500 MHD Integrated Graphics card is present in this laptop. XT2 is equipped with 3GB DDR3 1066 MHz RAM, which is present in 2 GB + 1 GB configuration. It supports Toshiba 120 GB Hard Disk Drive, running at 5400 rpm. A 1 GB Ethernet card, Wi-Fi and Intel 5100AGN Bluetooth are provided with the laptop. It works on a 6-Cell Battery (42WHr) and measures 11.7 x 8.7 x 1.1 inches in dimension.

Most importantly, the components of this laptop are user serviceable. The battery is fixed above the hard drive with four screws. Similarly, the RAM, WWAN card and Wi-Fi cards are placed on a single panel which is fixed with two screws, making the replacement very easy. Another geek friendly feature of Dell is that the BIOS chip is placed on the top of the access panel and can be easily removed. In case of failure or BIOS update, the chip can be replaced easily instead of sending the entire system for repair.
